It is of course over at the Longchamp racecourse over in France that this year’s running of the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe will be held, and it is on the 7th of October that race take place, which leave you wish more than enough time to get involved in that race from a betting point of view.
Ladbrokes currently have one of the most generous ante post betting markets on that race, and each of the horses scheduled to take part in it are being offered at some above average odds, so I will today give you a quick run through of where the value lays, and which horses are worth a punt!
Before I do so I should also like to point out that you are going to be able to take advantage of some generous each-way terms on that race too, for you will get one fifth the odds on the first three horses to cross the finishing line when backing them each-way if your chosen horses do finish in first, second or third place.
It is Sea Of Class that heads the ante post betting markets on the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe at Ladbrokes, and they are going 4/1 on that horse, however not far behind it with odds of 5/1 is the second favourite that being Enable.
Cracksman and Crystal Ocean also Fancied
The odds on the top five of six horses on his early betting market over at the Ladbrokes online and mobile betting site are all quite high, in fact another of the fancied runners to win is Cracksman and if you get your skates on you can secure odds of 13/2 on it winning
I would also consider a wager on Crystal Ocean as that horse does have some excellent form figures behind it and it would be no surprise to see it getting its head up in front, and if you fancy backing it you can bag odds of 8/1 right now!
Each-Way Possibilities in the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe
With those fair and generous each-way terms on the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe at Ladbrokes you could back some of the other horses higher up on their betting market and get some decent returns when backing hem each-way if the one you select does finish in any of the top three positions.
Lah Ti Dar and Poet’s Word look like possible faced finishers but they will of course need some luck in running and their respective odd are both currently 9/1, in fact I would also take a good look at the form figures for Roaring Lion who is 12/1 as they do speak volumes on that horses chances of winning or getting placed.
A couple of 16/1 shots that may just sneak into a place are Loxley and Study Of Man but as you look down the list of runners those that have not yet been mentioned do come with some fairly high odds attached to them including both Capri and Forever Together at 20/1.
