With there being 21 fences to be jumped and being a Grade 3 National Hunt race, it’s anyone’s guess as to just which of this years entries for the Ladbrokes Trophy race is going to go on to win that race this year, but the ante post betting markets are now open.
You could of course visit the Ladbrokes betting site to see just what odds they are offering, but it does often pay dividends for punters to shop around, and below are some of the very highest early odds I have so far come across on the fancied horses to win, and for reference it will be on Saturday the 30th of November that race will be run at the Newbury racecourse, weather permitted of course.
The current early favourite and one that may or may not be one you do fancy backing is Santini at 7/1 and that is the only horses that is currently being offered at single digit odds, but being available at those odds its true to say it’s not a red-hot favourite to win.
Best Each-Way Betting Terms
Bookies such as Coral are paying out to four places on the Ladbrokes Trophy Chase and are paying out at one quarter of the win odds, so there is certainly plenty of value to be had by backing a horse each-way right now.
There are no shortages of horses however that do have a chance of being placed in this race this year, and as for just which horses are worth having a small punt on are Mister Malarky and Talkischeap both of which can be backed at odds of 16/1.
Other Horses Worth Checking Out
Let me now give you an overview of the current ante post odds that are attached to each of the other runners that are entered in this race and the next horse in the betting is Kildisart at 20/1.
There are a lot of 25/1 shots currently so if you do fancy backing a horse with those high odds on offer then you should be picking out either Delta Work, Give Me A Copper, Kapcorse, Kemboy, Le Breuil or Vinndication to bet on.
As for the outsider, well there are also plenty of them right now and some of them are chalked up and being touted at odds of 33/1 and they are Beware the Bear, Cadmium, Dingo Dollar, Drovers Lane and Glen Rocco and then you have both Atlanta Ablaze and No Comment at 40/1.
