The betting markets have been in full swing on this year’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix for quite some time now, and for those of you planning on betting on that race there is certainly plenty of value to be found if you do hunt around from sportsbook to sportsbook.
I particular like the each-way terms on that race that are being offered by Coral, for they are going to be paying out to three places instead of the standard two places and are paying out one fifth of the odds on those three places too, in addition of course to the full odds on the win part of an each-way bet!
As for which drivers are being backed, well it is the usual suspects of course, and the man that is currently in pole position on the Coral sportsbook betting market for this race is Lewis Hamilton and if you are quick you can still bag the 13/8 odds they are offering on him.
It isn’t going to be a shock for fans of Formula One racing to discover that the second favourite is Sebastian Vettel and to be fair to Coral they do have him chalked up at some appealing odds, those odds being 12/5, but they could drop at any time so best you back him sooner rather than later if you do fancy his chances of success this year!
Other Drivers in with a Chance of Winning
You can of course pick out any driver that you think is going to beat the odds and win the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this year and if you are of the mind that driver is going to be Valtteri Bottas then strike whilst the iron is hot so to speak and back him now at 11/4.
As for any other drivers that could win this race, well there have been a few punters that have been prepared to back Charles Leclerc even though his odds are not what you could ever call overly generous, and for reference those odds are 7/2.
Back a Driver at Big Odds Each-way
If you want to try and strike gold and back one of the much lesser fancied drivers but at some much bigger odds each-way then, let me quickly rattle though the ones that could be worth something of a small speculative punt.
Well, to be honest there is only Max Verstappen that could possibly be worth backing out of the remaining drivers and if you wish to do so then you should get a decent pay-out backing him each-way at his current odds of 20/1
Pierre Gasly is the next driver in the betting, however as his win odds on this event are 100/1, they do give you a very clear insight into his chance of success, the same could also be said for the likes of Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg who are both available at 500/1 and you can forget about any other driver winning, as the chance of them doing so are tiny!
