There is always going to be a late splurge of money coming in for the favourites to win any major horse race, and on the 24th of November the long awaited Betfair Exchange Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle race will be being run over at the Haydock racecourse, and there is one horse that is currently being heavily backed.
That horse is First Assignment, and you are going to be getting some extremely decent odds of 5/2 if you are prepared to place your bets right now over on the ante post betting market for that race at William Hill.
Whilst the horse, when looking at its form does have the best chance of winning, there are no shortages of other very experienced horses that are well up to the job of winning it too, and today I will be looking at each of the other runners, and letting you know their respective ante post betting odds and whether they have any chance what so ever of winning.
Paisley Park for example does have a lot of good form, and thanks to the makeup of this race this year I expect a good show from it, in fact at 6/1 currently at William Hill there are plenty p people who are going to be backing it sooner rather than later, of that I am confident.
Chef des Obeaux Should Put on a Bold Show
You do have to be a good stayer to have any chance what so ever of winning this race, and one horse that is, is the experienced Chef des Obeaux.
You can secure odds of 13/2 on it right now, however do not expect that horses to be leading in the early or mid stages of the race, for it will be in the closing stages that you will see it coming into its own, and it does have a very fair chance of winning it does have to be said!
Dragon d’Estruval and the Rest of the Field
There is a bit of support coming in for Dragon d’Estruval and its odds however are fairly stable at 8/1 and I certainly wouldn’t put you off backing that horses ass much like most others already mentioned it does have a decent chance of winning.
Captain Cattistock and Folsom Blue are both 10/1 shots and you can get 12/1 on Moon Racer, some of you may fancy the chances of Aux Ptits Soins, Bobo Mac or even Monksland, and they may be worth a punt each-way at their current William Hill ante post odds of 16/1!
Theo’s Charm is an 18/1 shot, and Kris Spin, Pobbles Bay, Shades of Midnight and Wotzizname are very easy to back and you should find their 20/1 are not going to shorten up in the very near future, as both Holdbacktheriver you can get 33/1 on it winning, which to be fair I doubt it will and the outsiders in this race include Russian Bill at 40/1 and also Milrow that is currently trading at the 50/1 mark
