It will be on the 16th of November that this year’s running of the BetVictor Gold Cup will be staged over at the Cheltenham racecourse, and much like every year, there has already been plenty of bets placed on the ante post betting markets for that featured horse race.
With that in mind, and as you may be planning on betting on and watching that race this coming weekend, below I will be giving you a deep insight into just which horses have been getting plenty of attention from punters, and the ones that should run good race, and possibly win that race too.
Having had its odds halved in value over the past few days, Siruh Du Lac is currently sitting at the firm favourite to win this race on most bookies betting markets, and as for the odds currently available they are around the 5/1 mark.
However, this year this race is a fairly open one, and there are plenty of other horses that have caught the eye of punters, and another horse that has been backed is Slate House and at it is available at odds of 11/2 at most bookies sites it is the second favourite to win.
Four Places Paid Backing a Horse Each-Way
This is the type of horse race that many punters are going to be backing a horse or two each way, due in no small part to the high odds attached to most horses, and that may be something that you may fancy doing too.
If so then head on over to a betting site such as Coral, for they are going to be paying out to four places this year to each-way punters and they are paying out at one quarter of the win odds too on the each-way part of such bets.
As for just which horses are going to be ideal ones to bet each-way, well there are four other horses that could very easily fill one of the top four places in this race this year with one of them being Spiritofthegames at 7/1.
There are also three horses that are currently trading at double digit odds that have a fair chance of being placed this year too, the first of which is Saint Calvados, and if you get a move on you should still be able to bag odds of 10/1 on that horse.
Moving onto the very next horse in the betting, that is Us and Them and there are going to be plenty of punters that do fancy the chances of that horse, and will be more than happy with the 11/1 odds that are available currently on it at most bookies sites.
One other horse that if everything falls into place may just manage to scrape into one of the top four positions of this race is Count Meribel, and there will be a decent pay-out if that horse does get packed and you have backed it at its current odds of 12/1.
