Henry VIII Novices’ Chase Betting

It will be over at the Sandown racecourse this Saturday the 8th of December that the Henry the VIII Novices Chase is going to be staged, and this year all eyes are going to be on Lalor who is expected to run a big race and is the current favourite to win that race too.

Ladbrokes for example are offering a very fair set of early odds on that race, and current offer Lalor at win odds of 10/11. However, there are of course plenty of other runners in that race and you may feel like betting on one of the other horses that could beat the odds-on favourite.

Keep in mind though that Ladbrokes have some very reasonable each-way betting terms on that race and will be giving you one quarter of the win odds and paying out to two places, so savvy each-way sharks should be betting with that betting site for sure.

As for the horse that is going to possibly worry the owners of the favourite, well that is the current second favourite Diakali who is currently trading at odds of 7/2, for if Lalor fails to deliver you can bet your bottom dollar so to speak Diakali will be ready to pounce!

Dynamite Dollars Pacific De Baune Being Backed

There are a couple of horses that are also attracting a fair bit of support on the ante post betting market at Ladbrokes, the first of which is Dynamite Dollars who I certainly wouldn’t put you off backing at its current odds of 9/2.

A little bit of money has also been coming in for Pacific De Baune who has been backed down to win odds of 5/1, but whether that horse is in with a chance of winnings  race of this nature that does of course remain to be seen.

The Rest of the Field

Highway One O One is up for grabs at odds of 6/1 so there may be a little bit of each-way value on that horse if you do of course fancy its chances, and the odds jump to 9/1 on both Chesterfield and Pingshou who will need to up their respective game if they are to win or even get placed in this race this year.

As for the chances of Defi Du Seuil, well I do think that horse is going to have to show a huge improvement in its form to have any chance of worrying any of the other horses listed up above and its odds are currently around the 12/1 mark.

You can back Ornua at odds of 14/1 but I do think you will be taking a few risks backing hat horses, and the same can also be said for the rank outsider to win the 2018 running of the Henry VIII Novices Chase that being Cool Mix, for no matter how you look at that horse it has an uphill task of being any of the other runners this years and that is reflected in its win odds at Ladbrokes of 40/1!
