King George VI Chase Ante Post Betting

Before you know it Christmas will be here, and on Boxing Day, as is always the case, plenty of race meetings are scheduled and the only thing that will stop them going ahead as planned is of course the weather.

However, if there is one race that most punters will be betting on, on the 26th of December 2018 that will of course be the King George VI Chase. There are plenty of betting sites that have already made live their ante post betting markets on that race, and for all your ante post punters out there allow be to give you some pointers as to just which horses are currently being backed.

It is both Might Bite that is the red-hot favourite to the King George as that race is lovingly known, and as for just what odds you can bag by backing on it, well Quinnbet are going 2/1, and the second favourite is Waiting Patiently at odds of 6/1

However, you would be foolish to overlook the chances of some of the other horses running in that featured race, and three that are worth backing right now if of course you do fancy their chances are Native River at 8/1 and the 12/1 shots those being Footpad and Altior.

One Fifth the Win Odds to Three Places

As Quinnbet do of course let you bet each-way on any of their ante post betting markets, that is something that you may be prepared to do on this race, and they are offering one fifth the win odds on  all each-way bets placed on the King George and are paying out to three places too.

That does of course mean that horses such as Road to Respect at 14/1 and Politologue along with Bellshill both of which are currently trading at 16/1 are potential each-way bets for punters looking for some much higher odds.

20/1 Bar

You are going to be able to secure odds of at least 20/1 bar on all other runners taking their chances in this year’s running of the King George and at 20/1 you will find the likes of Top Notch, Al Boum Photo and Shattered Love and a case I suppose could be made for some of the 25/1 shots to at the very least fill one of the first three positions in this race too.

As for just which horses are currently trading at odds of 25/1 they are Bristol De Mai, Clan Des Obeaux, Disko, Terrefort, Thistlecrack and the list doesn’t stop there, for also at odds of 25/1 are Coneygree, Frodon and Snow Falcon too.

Black Corton is one of several 33/1 shots, and the others are Tea For Two, Willoughby Court, Don Poli, Saint Calvados and Total Recall, but as for the chances of Double Shuffle, Mister Whitaker and Outlander they are 40/1, Benatar and Cyrname are 66/1 and you will certainly be taking chances with both Royal Regatta and also Sizing Tennessee as they are friendless currently in the King George ante post betting markets at 100/1!
