There are of course plenty of golfers that have what you could call a fair and reasonable chance of winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational golf tournament which is in play until tomorrow, however at odds of 9/4 one golfer does look an outstanding bet and that golfer is of course Tommy Fleetwood.
The way he has been playing this year in that tournament makes him the firm favourite to win and from a betting point of view there are only a couple of other golfers that could beat him and take home the lion’s share of the prize pool
You do have to admit that Keegan Bradley is playing at the top of his form currently, and if he continues to do so then the odds currently on offer those odds being 4/1 will look overly generous later in the day and tomorrow when they will drop in value for sure.
Francesco Molinari has a tiny chance of winning this tournament and as for just what odds you will be rewarded with if you keep the faith and bet him, well Paddy Power have him chalked up at odds of 14/1.
Arnold Palmer Invitational Fact File
The Arnold Palmer Invitational started this year on the 4th of March and it is scheduled to end tomorrow the 10th of March, and it is on the Champion Course at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando, Florida golf course it is being staged at.
Each-way betting opportunities are also available if you want to place a slightly lower risk bet, bit as is always the case different bookmakers and sportsbooks are offering different each-way betting terms. Paddy Power however are paying out to four places and will give you one quarter of the win odds on the place part of any each-way bets you do place.
Each-Way Bets worth Placing
Golf can of course be a funny old game and if you are of the mind that any of the golfers I have so far named up above are not going to go on to win or even get placed then there are plenty of other golfers that could manage to scrape into one of the top four positions in this tournament.
Therefore the golfer you should be considering placing a small speculative each-way bet on include the likes of Justin Rose and the odds you can currently secure of him and extremely fair being as they are 16/1.
Billy Horschel is one of two golfers that are 20/1 shots, with the other one being Rory McIlroy, and then you have Patrick Reed at odds of 22/1 and Keith Mitchell and Kevin Kisner are next in the betting at odds of 25/1, and one other each-way betting opportunity that may just pay off is to back Bubba Watson at his current odds of 28/1.
If you fancy the chances of the other golfers then make sure you check out their odds at the Betfair betting chance as their odds will be much higher on that peer to peer betting site than any bookie will be offering you.
