When you set about betting on Darts matches you are going to be able to place a plethora of different bets and wagers, and some of them do give you the chance of winning big of course.
However, currently the Melbourne Darts Masters tournament has reached the Semi Finals stage of the tournaments and that is what I am going to be taking a look at, from a betting point of view today.
As for those two semi final matches, there are four players obviously involved in them, one of which is going to be crowned the champion once the final game is played out, and as for who those four darts players are they are Michael Smith, Gary Anderson, Michael Van Gerwen and Peter Wright.
You do need to be aware though that those two Semi Finals matches are going to be played off on the 12th of August 2018, and the matches are schooled to start as 10:00 AM in the morning, so you are certainly going to have to get your skates on if you do fancy placing a bet on any of the four players involved in those two semi final matches.
Semi Final Matches
The first semi final match is going to see Michael Smith taking on Gary Anderson, and as for where the smart money is going on that match, well Smith is on offer at odds of 2/1 and you can get odds of 2/5 on the favourite to win that Match, that being Anderson.
However, in the Michael Van Gerwen v Peter Wright match, it looks like punters are latching onto the chances of Van Gerwen as his win odds are now just 1/6 and Wright is easy to back at his current odds of 4/1.
Melbourne Darts Masters Outright Betting
Be aware that regarding the outright winner betting market, if you want to secure the best possible odds on any of the four players still remaining in this tournament, you will have to place a bet before the four semi final matches begin.
For as those games are played and the results are then known and the number of players drops to just two left remaining in the tournament, the odds on those two players will drop down in value too.
As for who is the current favourite to win this darts tournament, that is Michael Van Gerwen, and the best odds I have seen being offered on him winning as I checked out several betting sites this morning where 4/7 and they were on offer at Betfred.
It is Gary Anderson who is the second favourite to win this darts tournament and if you do fancy his chances then you are going to be able to secure odds on him winning of 3/1.
As for the two outsiders, they are of course Michael Smith and Peter Wright and as to what odds you can currently get on either of them well those odds are 9/1 which does give a true insight into their actual chances of winning his tournament!
