As it looks impossible for Marquez to not be crowned the Moto GP Championship winner, betting sites such as William Hill have a betting market available which have him removed from the list of riders that could win.
As such you can pick any other rider to be crowned champion but without having to worry about Marquez doing so. If as expected he does win then for betting purposes his win doesn’t count, and with that in mind allow me to give you an insight into the odds available on the other riders.
It is Andrea Dovizioso who becomes the favourite to win without Marques, and if you think he is going to win then you can bag odds of 6/4 at William Hill, and if you haven’t signed up to their online betting site, make sure you use our links to do so to take advantage of our exclusive sign up bonus!
You can get odds of 6/4 if you think it is going to be Jorge Lorenzo that will win or will come second to Marquez, which in the greater schemes of things is a very fair bet and one that may just come off.
Valentino Rossi a Rider with a Chance of Winning
There are plenty of riders that you can back to win or come second to Marques, but let’s face it there are not many that have any realistic chances of doing so, but one that I do personally like the look of is Valentino Rossi.
There is some value to be had if you do decide to back him over at the William Hill online betting site for they have him chalked up at odds of 9/4, but do be quick for I have a feeling plenty of punters will want to secure those odds which may just start to drop soon!
All other riders that are in the Moto GP Championship are available at odds of at least 20/1 and one that is, is Maverick Vinales, however it will be a risky bet if you do back him, but do keep in mind that William Hill will be offering you the option of backing any rider to win or come second without Marquez and you will get one third of the win odds for first or second place.
Therefore you may fancy including in any bets you place some of the riders with much higher odds attached to then such as the 50/1 you can bag right now by backing Cal Crutchlow, or possibly you could fancy the chance of Danilo Petrucci to win the Moto GP Championship, and if so his odds are 60/1.
80/1 is available on Johann Zarco, and all other riders that I haven’t yet mention are on offer at odds of at least 200/1 which by the way are the odds on Andrea Iannone and Dani Pedrosa. There are three riders that are available at odds of 4000/1, and they are Karel Abraham, Thomas Luthi and Xavier Simeon.
