It will be at 2:30 in the afternoon on the 18th of June this year that the 2019 Royal Ascot racing festival will be starting with the very first race that being the Queen Anne Stakes.
That race is one that is of course steeped in history, and all punters at the Ascot racecourse and those betting from home who are watching the races on TV will be pinning their hopes on that race to get them off to a winning start.
Keep in mind though that if you are not at the racecourse or even sat at home in front of the TV, you are going to be able to watch the race live, for it is being streamed online by several of our featured betting sites such as Coral.
For reference that bookies does currently have an ante post betting market available eon the Queen Anne Stakes, and as such you are going to be able to back any horse each-way with some very favourable each-way betting terms, those being one fifth of the win odds being paid out by Coral to three places too.
Le Brivido Heading the Ante Post Betting
I wouldn’t say that there has been a huge amount of early support for any of the horses running in the Queen Anne Stakes this year on the ante post betting markets, but one horse that has been attracting some support is Le Brivido, and that horse has been backed down to the current 4/1 favourite.
Mustashry is also a horse that some punters do feel is going to win this race this year, and currently that horse is trading at odds of around the 9/2 making it the current second favourite.
Some Each-Way Betting Opportunities
You may fancy taking it easy on the first few races of Royal Ascot, and if so then it may be worth having a small speculative each-way bet on horses such as Barney Roy or Laurens, for they are not without their respective chances of filling one of the top three positions in the Queen Anne Stakes this year and there is some value on their odds, those being 7/1.
Zabeel Prince also look a fair each-way bet and the odds on that horse are around the 8/1 mark, but do make sure you shop around for you may be able to get some slightly higher odds being offered to you when you do so.
I think that it’s very fair and true to say that Accidental Agent a current 10/1 shot is going to need a lot of luck in running and everything to fall its way if it is to get involved in this race, and the same could also be said for horses such as Hazapour, Hey Gaman and Lord Glitters who are all easy to back at odds of 16/1.
The rest of the field can be backed at odds of at least 20/1 right now with the rank outsider being Advance Yulong who is a huge 80/1 shot.
