Today I want to take a look at the odds that are still being offered on each of the teams that are involved in the County Championship Division One, for I do know plenty of you out there are very avid cricket fans and will be eager to place a bet on the team you think will win the title this year.
As for just which types of bets you can place on that Division, well there is always the chance that you will fancy placing any each-way bet as opposed to a win bet, and if you do then always look out for the bookies that are offering you the best each-way betting terms.
The bookie that does tend to offer the best each-way betting terms on most if not all of their ante post and futures cricket related betting markets are Coral, and with one fifth of the win odds currently up for grabs and as they are paying out to three positions on that betting market for this event that is the bookie I would suggest you place any each-way bets you are planning placing.
There is a rather open field of betting actually on Division One of the County Championship so far, and as for just which team is heading he betting markets that team is Surrey and they do look something of a value and standout bet it does have to be said right now for Coral have them chalked up at win odds of 5/2.
Somerset and Yorkshire
As the favourite is currently trading at odds of around the 5/2 mark, that does mean the odds on the second and third favourite are not going to be as high as you may have hoped, however there is no getting away from the fact that if you do fancy the chances of the second favourite, that being Somerset then the 3/1 odds currently up for grabs are going to tempt you into placing a bet!
Next in the betting are Yorkshire and to be fair to that team they do have an excellent chance of success this year and as for just what odds are currently available on them winning the title and being crowned the champions of Division One, those odds are 4/1 currently.
The Five Other Division One Teams
You will no doubt know that there are five other teams also playing in Division One, but as far as their respective chances of heading the league at the end of the season, well those five other teams are certainly the outsiders.
However, it is of course up to you and you alone as to whether you do rate any of those five other teams and you may actually fancy placing a bet on any of them, and if so let me now give you an insight into just what their respective win odds are.
You have Hampshire at 7/1 next in the betting followed closely by Essex at 8/1, then Nottinghamshire are available at tempting odds of 9/1 followed by Kent at 16/1 and the outsiders to win are Warwickshire at 20/1.
