Wimbledon Mixed Doubles 2019 Betting

The Wimbledon Mixed Doubles event this year is certainly an interesting affair from a betting point of view and there are a handful of pairings that are attracting some decent and fairly substantial bets currently, so let me first look at which doubles teams they are.

As for the current favourites, well if you are an avid fan of the sport of Tennis then you will not need me to tell you just which team are expected to win, and that is of course the A. Murray/ S. Williams partnership, but as for value, well their odds are just 11/8 to win this tournament.

Those odds on the about doubles team are not that attractive however, and another doubles team that you may be prepared to take your chances on is the Soares / Melichar team and if you get a move on you should still be able to secure the 11/2 I have seen being offered on them to win.

Then you have Dodig / Chan, they are both very experienced players and as such it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if they did come out on top and win, and there are plenty of bookies out there that are going to be offering you odds right now of 6/1 that they will take the mixed doubles tournament this year.

Best Wimbledon Mixed Doubles Each-Way Terms

As there are so many mixed doubles taking part in this year’s event, that does of course mean that you may fancy some of those pairings that have much higher odds attached to them, and if that is the case then consider betting on your chosen pair as an each-way type of bet.

By doing so you will get paid out it your team wins, however you will also get paid out if they finish first or in second place too at one half to the win odds, but do not accept each-way betting terms if only two places are paid out and you are offered lower than half of the win odds.

Additional Betting Opportunities

Apart from the three doubles parings mention above the rest of the teams are being touted at odds that are in double digits, and as such if you are prepared to look a little further afield then you will get some much better odds.

There will be some risks however if you choose to back for example Skugor / Olaru are being offered to win this tournament at odds of 10/1 as too are the Peers / Zhang, partnership but with a little bit of luck in playing either team could win or get placed.

Then you have the likes of Hoyt / Silva and  Roger-Vasselin / Klepac who are both easy to back at odds of 12/1, followed in the betting by Koolhof / Peschke who are 14/1 and then there is the Venus / Srebotnik partnership who are trading currently at odds of 16/1, the rest of the teams are 20/1 bar.
